With the family around and the busyness of moving, I have neglected this blog. Thanks for praying for us in non-specific ways.
Here is what we are focusing our prayers on this week:
-We continue to transition to our new home and schedules. The change in schedules has been the most disruptive so far. The kids wake up WAY earlier here, JR is gone for half the week, and JR and I both have meetings peppered throughout the week.
-We are all on the mend from the allergy-induced infections that hit all of us. Dr. Dan hooked us up with medicine and a plan to keep this stuff at bay while living here.
-Children's auditions are coming up tomorrow and continue all weekend.
-JR and I met and prayed with another couple about looking into forming a mission team to Scotland. This is all in the very beginning stages. But I must say... I've been praying for this since 1999 (no exaggeration).
We are so blessed by the graciousness of my family (allowing us to live with them), the Hackers (allowing JR to stay with them while he's in Memphis), and everyone who is open-arm-ed-ly welcoming us into the Searcy community.
JR is doing well in school. He also did a great job with the university class at Downtown on Sunday. He told a little bit of his story, shared teaching responsibilities with Monte Cox, and gave everyone ALL of his contact information. May God's will be done there!
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.
(Also, we were alerted to the fact that our "Support" button didn't connect to our PayPal account. I have fixed that.)
-Daisha
We crave your support in prayer more than anything else.
However, we know from experience that the Spirit prompts us to action. And if the Spirit prompts you to give, we want have set this site up to make it easier for you to follow that prompting.
